Remarks |
This lifeboat was donated in 1978 by Mr Meindert Pon and stationed in Vlieland. This Wadden punt, named after Pon's mother, served there until 1996. CM Boon, Arie Boon, B. Gorter, H. Wortel, P Stuivenga, C. de Jong sr, H. Boersma, D.P. Boersma and J. Stuivenga were the rescuers. Afterwards, it served for some time in Marken. Pon bought the Wadden punt back in 1996 and it lay in Lelystad for 10 years. On 11 November 2006, it became the property of the Tienstra family and was given a spot next to the Knokkels in Lemmer.
