In the 1960s, a Hollandair HA-001 Libel flew at Hilversum Airfield with Skylight. It was used as an advertising banner-towing aircraft.

Hollandair was a Dutch aviation trading company that primarily focused on the repair and overhaul of small aircraft. The company was founded around 1956 in Katwijk aan Zee by glider pilot Jan G. Hoekstra.

In 1957, Hoekstra, together with J.G. Veldberg of the NLS, designed a crop-dusting aircraft commissioned by the Eerste Groningse Landbouw Sproeibedrijf (First Groningen Agricultural Spraying Company), whose previous crop-duster had crashed. This became the HA-001 "Libel" and made its first flight on 19 July 1957. The aircraft had a very long wing so that it could maintain flight at low speed. From 1960, trials were conducted with it at Zestienhoven Airfield. These showed that the aircraft was not suitable as a crop-duster.

In 1960, it was sold as an advertising banner-towing aircraft to the aerial advertising company Skylight at Hilversum Airfield. With a new engine, the aircraft proved to be extremely suitable for this purpose.

On 9 May 1965, the aircraft PH-NGX was severely damaged at Hilversum Airfield. The Libel was not properly anchored and was picked up by a storm and slammed over the fence into the bushes.
