The NZHRM rowing lifeboat "No. 6" was a wooden rowing lifeboat that was in service in the early 20th century at the Noordwijk rescue station of the Noord- en Zuid-Hollandse Redding-Maatschappij (NZHRM). This sloop was used for rescuing shipwrecked people and carrying out other rescue operations along the coast.
Type: Rowing Lifeboat
Length: Approximately 10 metres
Hull Material: Wood
Number of Oars: 8
Crew: 10 people

The "No. 6" was one of many rowing lifeboats active along the Dutch coast at that time. They were often pulled across the beach by horses or later by tractors to quickly reach stranded ships. The crew consisted of volunteers trained in carrying out rescue operations under severe conditions.
Currently, no original examples of the "No. 6" are still in active service. However, the National Rescue Museum Dorus Rijkers in Den Helder houses a rich collection of historical lifeboats, including the motor beach lifeboat Abraham Fock, which played an important role in the development of the rescue service in the Netherlands. This boat was added to the museum's sailing fleet in 2020 and has since been used for commercial boat trips and events.
