The Fokker S.11 Instructor is a single-engine, two-seater, propeller-driven training aircraft manufactured by Fokker. The aircraft is fitted with a Lycoming O-435-A boxer engine delivering 190 hp.

In this second post-war design by Fokker, the instructor and student sit side by side. The prototype, the PH-NBE, was flown for the first time on 18 December 1947 by Gerben Sonderman.[1]

Distinctive features of the aircraft include the large cockpit and the bent landing gear legs. Behind the seats there is space for luggage, a third seat or an additional 114-litre fuel tank.[2] The training aircraft was used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the Royal Netherlands Navy. It was also sold to Israel and built under licence in both Italy and Brazil.[3]

The S.12 is an S.11 with nose wheel landing gear. Only a prototype of the S.12 was ever built.
