The Leopard class consisted of four ships:

HMS Leopard (F14): In service from 1958 to 1975.

HMS Lynx (F27): In service from 1957 to 1982.

HMS Jaguar (F37): In service from 1959 to 1976.

HMS Puma (F34): In service from 1957 to 1972.

These ships were designed to operate at a speed of 24 knots, which made them suitable for escort duties with convoys and light aircraft carriers. However, they were less suitable for operations with fleet aircraft that reached speeds in excess of 28 knots.
