Hr.Ms. "Van Heemskerck" (F812) and "Witte de With" (F813) are air defence frigates of the "Jacob van Heemskerck"-class, which were in service with the Royal Netherlands Navy. Here is an overview of these frigates:
The class consists of two ships:

Hr.Ms. Witte de With (F813)
Both ships were built as a modified variant of the Kortenaer-class, specially equipped for air defence.

Van Heemskerck (F812): Commissioned in 1986
Witte de With (F813): Commissioned in 1986
Both ships were decommissioned in the early 2000s. They were then sold to Chile:
F812 → Almirante Latorre (FFG-14)
F813 → Capitán Prat (FFG-11)
Both frigates were active during and after the Cold War within NATO and participated in international operations, including in the Persian Gulf and the Adriatic Sea.
