The Hr.Ms. "Snellius" (A907) and Hr.Ms. "Luymes" (A902) from 1952 were hydrographic survey vessels of the Royal Netherlands Navy. They played an important role in mapping (maritime) areas, both in the Netherlands and in (former) overseas territories.

HMS Snellius (A907): Decommissioned in 1973

They were succeeded by newer hydrographic vessels, including another Snellius (1984) and Luymes (2003), continuing the naming tradition.
