The ms Willemstad was a Dutch cargo and passenger ship that entered service in 1950 with the Royal Netherlands Steamship Company (KNSM). The ship was a converted version of the ms Socrates, built in 1938, which was originally designed as a cargo ship. After the conversion, the ms Willemstad was deployed on the route Amsterdam – Southampton – Caribbean ports – Georgetown (Guyana).
