The MS Stena Carisma (IMO 9127760) was a striking high-speed ferry operated by Stena Line, built in 1997 by Westamarin A/S in Kristiansand, Norway. The vessel was one of four ships in the HSS 900 series, designed for high-speed crossings at speeds of up to 40 knots.

Services and History

The Stena Carisma entered service on 20 June 1997 and operated between Gothenburg and Frederikshavn. In 2013, the vessel was withdrawn from regular service and laid up in Gothenburg. It operated only during the spring and summer seasons and was laid up during the winter months.

In 2013, the ship was permanently taken out of service and has been laid up in Gothenburg ever since.
