The SS Sibajak was a Dutch passenger and troop transport ship that entered service in 1928 with the Rotterdamsche Lloyd, later known as Koninklijke Rotterdamsche Lloyd. The ship was built by the Koninklijke Maatschappij “De Schelde” in Vlissingen and was named after the Sibayak volcano on Sumatra, Indonesia.

Gross tonnage: 12,040 GRT (increasing to 12,342 GRT following refits)
Engine power: 10,000 hp (two 8-cylinder Sulzer diesel engines)

Passenger capacity: initially 454 passengers, later expanded to 950
Crew: approximately 229 to 244 people
1928: Entered service on the Rotterdam–Batavia (now Jakarta) route.
1934: Refitted at the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij in Rotterdam, increasing the gross tonnage to 12,226 GRT.
1940–1941: Converted into a troop transport ship for the Royal Navy.
1946–1951: Deployed to transport Dutch troops to the Dutch East Indies.
1951: Converted into an emigrant ship with a capacity of 950 passengers.
1953: Refitted again, increasing the gross tonnage to 12,342 GRT.
1959: Sold for scrap and arrived in Hong Kong on 25 August 1959.
