During MV Twente's open day, last summer 2019, Gerard Wiegerinck handed us a folder of drawings "for the archive". Gerard built in 1:25 for a very long time, also known as Gauge 2. But when the 58 mm rails disappeared from the train table in Enschede, he switched to Gauge 1. Sadly, Gerard passed away last November at the age of 89.
A very detailed drawing for a working steam tram locomotive. "Gelderland" of the Gelders Westfaalsche Steam Tram Company, a 3-axle locomotive with Walschaerts valve gear.
Originally on 750 mm narrow gauge, this becomes a substantial locomotive on Gauge 1 with a length over buffers of 31 cm. The drawing is on 28 sheets of A2 and A3
